Ruthlessness

Ruthlessness

A city in England. 1997. New Labour have just won a landslide victory at the polls. Following the death of mob boss ‘Daddy Carlyle’, his son takes control of his criminal empire and sets his sights on owning local politician Deborah King, by rigging the up and coming title bout for the middle-weight championship of the world. In the meantime two low-level gangsters, Lenny and Guy, default on their debt to the new boss, young Carlyle, and are driven to desperate measures to raise the cash. They successfully blackmail boxing contender Metal Mickey (who is gay) into throwing the fight. But, unbeknownst to them, Metal Mickey is owned by Carlyle and, in so doing, they derail his plot. As the multiple plot lines come to a head, a bloodbath promises to ensue.
