Another man's demon.**
Theatre Group proudly presents this year's Halloween show, Peter Shaffer's EQUUS!
The story follows the investigation of a middle aged Hampshire based psychiatrist, Martin Dysart, into the case of 17 year old Alan Strang who in an inexplicable fit of rage blinded 5 horses at a nearby stable. It falls on Dysart to find out what led the boy to this horrific act and in doing so begins to question the validity of his own practise and indeed his own beliefs.
This is a dark and powerful piece that deals with themes of religion, insanity, parental control and sexual discovery. Combined with a visually striking design, this show is the perfect event for Halloween and sure to be one hell of an experience.
