Metamorphoses

Show
A production by Theatre Group

Written by Mary Zimmerman, after Ovid

Let me die still loving, and so never die From the creation of the universe to the doom of mankind
From the lowliest commoner to the Gods of Olympus
From the first flush of love to the sorrow of parting
From greed and hunger to penance and fulfillment
From the innocent wooing of Pomona to Myrrha's unspeakable passion
From the bawdiness of Phaeton to the tragic nobility of Orpheus
From birth to death and then, through love, to rebirth
There is only one constant - Change
