SUJO is the university's only big band, recently having performed at Montreux Jazz Festival and looking to visit another European festival this summer
This year we are focusing on classics from the Ellington and Basie era including Take the A Train, Someone to Watch Over me and Lil' Darlin. Come see us at our first gig of the year in the Hartley Suite on Campus on the 26th November.

SUJO
Our orchestra is an auditioned ensemble made up of musicians from the university. We are made up of woodwind, brass and rhythm sections and aim to perform at least 3 major gigs a year on campus while also performing outside the uni. Last year, our venues included the prestigious Concorde Club in Eastleigh while we also toured to Montreux Jazz Festival having also performed at the North Sea and Vienna Jazz Festival's in the past.
