The story takes place in a modern day sixth form, where we follow a 16-year-old called Michael through his first year at his new school. There he meets his best friend, Alex, and later a girl called Sophie that becomes obsessed with him. Through his time there, Michael has to struggle with his A-Levels whilst being caught in a broken love triangle with Alex and Sophie. Through the friendships and relationships that subsequently happen, the three are forced to question everything, until it ends in disaster.
