Freelancers

Daniel Balance has always dreamed of being a journalist

So when he gets a job at the popular tabloid newspaper ‘The Daily Week’ it looks like everything is going to be great. Well for the purposes of comedy and drama – no, no it isn’t.

With a job-threatening deadline looming and a pair of scary editors breathing down his neck, Balance must join forces with the loveable (if inept) Paul Muddle and brilliant journalist Penny Sweet, in an attempt to try and break the news with some integrity left intact.

But what is the terrible secret at the very heart of ‘The Daily Week’? Who is the mysterious Rick Twist? And can a man really fall in love with a Victorian camera? All of these questions and many more will be answered in… ‘Freelancers’.

A fast paced original musical comedy, ‘Freelancers’ takes the audience on a silly and surreal ride through a madcap world of journalism.
